2010 Mane Event Date - April 24th.

The 32nd Annual Mane Event
Saturday, April 24, 2010
at Forest Hills Country Club

In addition to dinner and live and silent auctions, this year's Mane Event will offer guests the opportunity to honor TH's 35-year history, its three founders, and initial riders. Invitations will go out in February, but tickets are available right now for those who want to reserve their spot at this important celebration. More than half the tables have already been sold!

Individual tickets are $125. Tables of 10 are $1,125. To make your reservations, just call Mary Bergmann at 636.332.4940. Please invite your friends and coworkers to attend with you. If you want to make sure you or your friends are on the invite list, just contact us!

We are also looking for sponsors and auction items for the event. If you have an item or service you could donate, we would love to hear from you.

2010 Horse Show - June 19th

Riders will have the opportunity to participate in our annual horse show. Ribbons and trophies will be awarded in various categories. Family and friends are welcome at our facility to watch and cheer on their riders. Bring lawn chairs, sunscreen and enjoy a fun filled day.

2010 4th Annual Golf Tournament - August 15th

Where - Country Lakes Golf Course, Warrenton, MO

The second annual Golf Tournament gave many area golfers an opportunity to play
their favorite sport, while raising money to benefit Therapeutic Horsemanship.
Prizes were given for the longest drive and closest to the pin. A continental breakfast and lunch
were included.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Vince Slattery, TH volunteer, for organizing this fun event.

2010 Polo Event - 8th Annual Match - September 11th

Saturday-September 11th, 2010-Gates open at 3:00 p.m.-Match begins at 4:00p.m.

McGehee Polo Field at Spirit Valley Farms- 17879 Wild Horse Creek Road (Chesterfield)

Join us for a unique afternoon of fun and excitement for the entire family! Activities feature the polo match - a high speed cross between croquet and hockey on horseback - a skills demonstration by Therapeutic Horsemanship riders, children's crafts and activities, and the traditional half-time stomping of the divots.

For those unfamiliar with polo, our on-field announcers provide play-by-play action that includes explanations and information about the game of polo as it unfolds on the field.

2010 Horse Birthday Party - October 2nd - October 16th

You may or may not know that many people celebrate their horse's birthday on January 1st each year. We celebrate our herd's birthday each year with a horse birthday week. It begins two weeks before the Horse-A-Thon and ends on the day of the Horse-A-Thon during lunch. We will sing happy birthday and enjoy cake and punch. Help us celebrate by purchasing a gift for your favorite horse. You will find a list of needed items for each horse by visiting our equine page and clicking on the horse you choose, or you can see our full horse birthday wish list by clicking here. You may bring your gift and drop it in the box outside the administration office. Don't forget to fill out a gift form so we know who the gift is from.

2010 Horse A Thon - October 16th

DATE: SATURDAY, OCT. 16th, 2010

TIME: Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m.
Check-in at 11:30 for afternoon riders/volunteers

OPEN TO: •TH Riders with disabilities or without disabilities on TH horses
•Volunteers who walk with riders (leaders or sidewalkers)

INFO: •All riders are welcome to ride the beautiful trails.

•Riders collect sponsors and ride to raise funds for TH.
•Prizes are awarded to the top 3 fundraisers in three divisions.
•Lunch will be provided for all riders and volunteers!
•Volunteers walking can collect sponsors also.
•Riders MUST wear an ASTM-SEI helmet on TH property
